A new website for The Gershwin Gang

Steve of TheWebSmiths really knows his stuff and has been a huge help in revamping our website and updating it to make it fully compliant with Google’s latest requirements. In particular our website wasn’t working properly on mobile devices where most searches are now carried out.

After just one month since the new-look website went online, customer enquires are up 11% on the same period last year which is the first time that has happened for 3 years! Our position in the organic listings has also improved considerably.

Steve is very helpful and efficient and has even shown us how to alter the web pages, which is quite an achievement for technophobes like us.

The Gershwin Gang is a jazz band with more than 20 years’ experience of performing at events.

Specialising in the songs of the American jazz era made famous by artists such as Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, The Rat Pack and Michael Bublé, they will give your special occasion the perfect vintage feel.

How I helped:

The Gershwin Gang had seen a steady decline in web traffic over the last couple of years, potentially inline with Google’s mobile first index changes.

We created a mobile responsive website using WordPress. We’ll continue to assist with site management and search engine optimisation as the site develops.

We’ve been keen to include their existing Google Analytics account so we can monitor the sites performance to ensure the expected improvement in traffic comes to fruition.
